Gather around kids, it’s time for another episode of Oscar’s random thoughts…

• People keep telling me that I should start a meme account on IG since I post entertaining stories, but I feel like people would follow that account and totally forget about my photography! Ugh!
• I’ve always wanted to have a pet raccoon
• I’m all for restaurants trying to elevate tacos (ingredient-wise), but it doesn’t feel right spending $5 bucks on a taco when I can get one for a buck fiddy from the taco truck (that topic should be its own post)
• One of my favorite things in the world is to wake up super early on weekends and just walk around the city with my camera, so damn peaceful
• Song I am listening to as I am typing this – “Wolves” by Kanye West (dude has gone off the rails recently, but this song is a masterpiece)
• I sometimes cringe at my own dad jokes, but for some reason, I can’t stop making them (I already feel bad for my future kids)
• I really need to start printing some of my pics and get started on my DTLA photography book
• All of my plants are still alive and happy, life’s little victories
• Earlier today, I typed out an entire blog post only to later realize that I had pretty much covered the same topic on a recent post (damn old age!)
• Every time I see a picture of Post Malone, it makes me laugh and I don’t know why
• Sometimes you gotta make like Craig David and “walk away” from the troubles in your life
• Speaking of Craig, I wonder what he’s up to these days…
• On Tuesdays, whenever a coworker asks me how its going, I always respond with, “Great! It’s almost Friday!” and the look of confusion they give me is awesome, it never fails
• You ever get stuck in an elevator with someone you really don’t talk to and they start making small talk about the weather because they can’t stand the silence?
• A few years back, my sister taught my mom how to send text messages, which has been awesome. My mom is now sending gifs and it’s the best thing ever!

• Isn’t it crazy how many people complain about airline travel when the mere fact that you can hop on a plane and go somewhere in a matter of hours is pretty amazing?
• I’m too nice sometimes
• It’s about to 11:30p and I should have gone to bed 30 mins ago, damn!
